“NOT ALL GIANTS CAN DO EVERYTHING”

\ Pauline Loar, Acad - C, S.Y. 2016 - 2017 This is the primary message being delivered by Windy Sabolbora as she introduces herself as an SSG Secretary - wannabe in Sagay City Senior High School Grand Rally yesterday in the covered court at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon. The audiences are about 200 students.  She motivated us to vote wisely and exercise our rights in this coming election. She educated us to participate in every activity in the school. She also persuaded us to vote for her because she is willing to serve our school. She also entertained us with her jokes and humorous words. She spoke about the platforms, the programs and the plans that she would do if she will be elected as SSG secretary. One of her platforms that I really like is the “PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL” because students like me are very shy to express or to let others see our talents yet just like others, I want also to improve it. Many students can hear her voice clearly even though the micro...

My Chosen Speaker (v.2)

Ellyn Grace M. Alagao 11- Acad.D    My chosen speaker is Tiffany Jean S. Dawa whose goal is to motivate and at the same time to persuade. She starts delivering her message with a short description of what a good leader should be. Her purpose is to run for a position in the Supreme Student Government as the Vice President. She achieved her objective wherein she speaks to a large audience consisting of five sections with an estimated forty-five students held at the covered court.          Tiffany speaks confidently and that she stood straight and was able to deliver her speech clearly and approvingly for the audience. She intended her presentation to be memorable. The speech was organized logically and was easy to follow because she presents her experiences as evidence of her primary objective in running for a position. She concluded it sententiously, and it was filled with enthusiasm for she speaks confidently persuading ...

My Chosen Speaker

Crisol Lequigan HUMSS Acad - C, SY '16-'17                  A good speaker speaks confidently because being confident is a good way in delivering your message. You will express your speech very well just like the event yesterday - the Grand Rally held in covered court in Sagay National High School. The speaker I chose is the President of the Right Party who is Mr. Ariel Encabo. For me, he is a good speaker because when he speaks he is encouraging people to listen to him. He jokes and he has a good way of convincing people. The audience is really listening to him because he is entertaining and can make the audience listen, and be curious.  Being a speaker you must have a good way of expressing your speech and you must be careful with your words because it might hurt the audience and your voice must be soft to make the audience comfortable and in stage you must be sensitive on your movement in front of others and your body p...

Future Visions

Future Visions By Reu Jean Bacabac Acad E, S.Y. 2016 - 2017 “What is my vision in the future?”  This is the usual question that every student ask themselves that can be the root of confusion since there is even a bigger number of career choices now that makes it even more hard for a student to choose. “ What should a student like me consider before choosing the right path to go?” - the question that we normally ask ourselves. In picking the right career, a student should consider what she’s passionate to do. It’s very important to ask yourself what’s your desired job in the future. So that when the time of choosing comes, you will not regret the decision that you’ve made. You should take a look ahead in the future and imagine yourself doing the things that you love to do. It’s hard to think about the things that aren’t coming yet but the earlier you think about it, the earlier things will be fixed. It may be hard, but as long as you know what you really w...

HOW IS OUR EAPP CLASS SO FAR?

Comments emailed by my ACAD - E students for their English for Academic and Professional Purposes Class. They wrote this last month, right now, I'm no longer so sure if they felt the same way. Hahaha.  HOW IS OUR CLASS IN EAPP GOING SO FAR? So far... Our EAPP class is going well and it's pretty interesting because we're tackling some things that are really in my interest. There's just something in our class that fires me up. Well maybe, it is because my classmates are also showing a great time interacting when our class is going. What made it even more nice and amazing is that, we're going smoothly through the topics which made it even easier for us to cope up with the lesson. For some reason, our teacher is beyond awesome up to the point that we are slowly stepping out of our comfort zones especially when we're doing a reporting. I guess bringing up this K-12 curriculum is not that bad after all. -        REU JEAN BACABAC  For ...

“Confusion Leads to Nowhere”

What am I going to be in the future? Who will I be? These questions linger in every student’s mind almost every day. We keep asking ourselves, where will this lead me? Confusion strikes. It feels like we’re in a maze.             Deciding the right track to pursue in Senior High School is pretty hard. We are considering many opinions and suggestions from parents, friends, relatives and from ourselves as well. We also need to consider the in-demand skills and professions today that may lead us to a vast array of job opportunities in the future. This and many other considerations make our decision making a little bit harder.             The future is like a labyrinth. It’s hard to figure out where to go. It’s like a puzzle that’s hard to fix. Confusion is normal. It’s part of life. But I guess we should not...
