“Confusion Leads to Nowhere”

What am I going to be in the future? Who will I be? These questions linger in every student’s mind almost every day. We keep asking ourselves, where will this lead me? Confusion strikes. It feels like we’re in a maze.

Deciding the right track to pursue in Senior High School is pretty hard. We are considering many opinions and suggestions from parents, friends, relatives and from ourselves as well. We also need to consider the in-demand skills and professions today that may lead us to a vast array of job opportunities in the future. This and many other considerations make our decision making a little bit harder.

The future is like a labyrinth. It’s hard to figure out where to go. It’s like a puzzle that’s hard to fix. Confusion is normal. It’s part of life. But I guess we should not let that confusion take us to the wrong path. Decide on what you love. Because when you love a thing, you dedicate yourself to it and learning is no longer a responsibility but an enjoyment. The confusion we are facing right now is the evidence that life is exciting, interesting and thrilling because of its uncertainties as well as twists and turns.

HOW IS OUR EAPP CLASS SO FAR?

Comments emailed by my ACAD - E students for their English for Academic and Professional Purposes Class. They wrote this last month, right now, I'm no longer so sure if they felt the same way. Hahaha.  HOW IS OUR CLASS IN EAPP GOING SO FAR? So far... Our EAPP class is going well and it's pretty interesting because we're tackling some things that are really in my interest. There's just something in our class that fires me up. Well maybe, it is because my classmates are also showing a great time interacting when our class is going. What made it even more nice and amazing is that, we're going smoothly through the topics which made it even easier for us to cope up with the lesson. For some reason, our teacher is beyond awesome up to the point that we are slowly stepping out of our comfort zones especially when we're doing a reporting. I guess bringing up this K-12 curriculum is not that bad after all. -        REU JEAN BACABAC  For ...

Can heterosexual men and women truly be friends with no hopes or expectations of anything more romantic?

Can heterosexual men and women truly be friends with no hopes or expectations of anything more romantic? by Gladys Seracarpio Introduction:                 Friendship is something that everyone needs. We need friends so that our life will not be boring. We are comfortable when we are with them. No man is an island as they say. But can a girl and a guy be ‘just friends’without any romantic stuffs involved? For me, it’s a No. Body:                 It may sound stereotypical, but men do have sex in mind. Researchers at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology surveyed 308 heterosexual undergrad students between the ages 18 and 30, asking them about their friendships, sexual attractions and experiences with misread social signals.              ...

Future Visions

Future Visions By Reu Jean Bacabac Acad E, S.Y. 2016 - 2017 “What is my vision in the future?”  This is the usual question that every student ask themselves that can be the root of confusion since there is even a bigger number of career choices now that makes it even more hard for a student to choose. “ What should a student like me consider before choosing the right path to go?” - the question that we normally ask ourselves. In picking the right career, a student should consider what she’s passionate to do. It’s very important to ask yourself what’s your desired job in the future. So that when the time of choosing comes, you will not regret the decision that you’ve made. You should take a look ahead in the future and imagine yourself doing the things that you love to do. It’s hard to think about the things that aren’t coming yet but the earlier you think about it, the earlier things will be fixed. It may be hard, but as long as you know what you really w...
