Societal Problems

Problem? Problem is something that is difficult to deal with or issues that affects the different aspects of an individual. One of the problem or issue that I notice in our community is the improper waste disposal. I notice that in the different corner of the streets are flooded with garbages and even in trashcans that are use to separate biodegradable from non biodegradable are not practice well. I also notice that even in the places where plants and trees are planted, still the garbages are thrown. The solution that I came up wth, is to encourage students to do a community outreach and help in cleaning and segregating garbages and start posting different signs that tells people to prohibit throwing their garbages in improper places and to dispose it properly. Another issue that our community is facing is the pollution in air, water and land. Connected to the improper disposal of garbages, pollution is its effect. For example if garbages or waste are thrown into rivers and lakes, it can create pollution in water and can affect our water supply. Improper waste disposal can also lead to pollution to land and can cause problem. As I say, as a student we should start helping each other in cleaning our surroundings, picking up garbages and segregating.

HOW IS OUR EAPP CLASS SO FAR?

Comments emailed by my ACAD - E students for their English for Academic and Professional Purposes Class. They wrote this last month, right now, I'm no longer so sure if they felt the same way. There's just something in our class that fires me up. Well maybe, it is because my classmates are also showing a great time interacting when our class is going. What made it even more nice and amazing is that, we're going smoothly through the topics which made it even easier for us to cope up with the lesson.
